ok, so last night i had a bunch of crazy dreams and this is one that really stuck: I'm in a desert-y place, but its cool out and its sunset. In the early morning of Thursday October 15, Yoda, our beloved dog, passed away. In the last couple weeks of his life, we found out that he had congestive heart failure, and his heart was so big that whenever it beat it would bump into his trachea, making him cough every heart beat. Though he was put on blood pressure medicine, it wasn't enough to keep him here longer. But we are happy knowing he chased squirrels (his life long passion), and seemed very happy yesterday. Wednesday we went to Cortez because on Thursday we were going to Mesa Verde. We stayed in this lovely little cottage surrounded by farm land and mountains.
